Taha Tinana

 Today we had to get into groups and we were assigned something from te whare tapa wha and we had to present it to the class. we got Taha Tinana.    

Maori Art Piece

 Today we had to pick out a page from our favorite children book from when we were little and redraw the picture and write the words in maori. This is mine i did winnie the pooh.

Mock Newspaper article

 Today we read the book the island. it is all about this man washing ashore on this little raft. and he didn't look like everyone else so he was put into a goats pen and left there. then he was sent back out to sea. 

so what we had to do was look at one perspective of someone and write a mock newspaper article about it.   

measurement

 Today we did an activity where we had to work out the areas of squares , rectangles and parallelograms. We did this by measuring and floor or 3 rooms in your and trying to find the area. we also had to make up one for the family.   

Today we kick a ball between 100 and 0 and got our data and added it together then after we added it we had find the range. this is the data we got.

 This week in cybersmart we are learning how to make statistic graphs. first we had to get our data we asked the class what there fav sports was then made a graph about it then wrote a statement relating to the graph.  

What i think the tryathlon should be like

today we did they tryathlon we started by running one lap of the field then we did two laps on the bike and then three lenges of the pool. sammara and i recreated it to what we thought it should be like.
