whangara
On the 20th of feb Makaraka school in Gisborne has just been to whangara on there yearly leadership camp. While they were there they did many activities . the one that they most enjoyed was the kayaking and swimming in the river .
Finally it was time to kayak freezing but still willing they made there way down to the river dodging the thorns and prickles when they went . pulling On there life jacket and stared there adventure , they choses a kayak hopping in and starting to paddle out in to the open
They paddled to the big think log they touched it and then mr milne said come back in they paddled in. And then there was a girl stranded out at the end of the river and isla staved the stranded girl and she paddled them back to shore
Both Isla and the stranded girl keeps going without any paddles and they persevered and paddled and they swam and paddled and swam and finley when it was time to come in it was a long way back.
They all dragged the kayaking out of the water and onto the sand and up to the trailer. They walked to the rooms and they had a hot shower and all of were sad to leave but were really tired.
